Bit of a shop window for fans to see some of the club’s younger talent. As for the lads they showed promise and doubtless if they develop some will be going out on loan in the future.
Unusual to get a chance to start so many youngsters in one game but Moyes earned that privilege by guiding us to be group winners with a game to spare.

I think many are forgetting this was a game Zagreb needed a result from a we were a team looking to give very talented young players a game in a big competition, whilst the experience in the team were mainly our 3rd choice from the 1st team squad. Both ends of the age scale needed a few more of the first choice players to thrive but we needed them to rest.
A wonder goal won it…….

In truth after their goal went in early I feared the worst, but credit to them they held their own after that. Shame some of our ‘senior’ players couldn’t put their stamp a bit on the game, some of Benrahma’s passing was woeful.
As most mention, the stand out was Longelo and enjoyed the way he took them on. Plenty of pace and some good decision making.
A Big positive on the night.

Decent performance from the youngsters overall, Longelo and Ashby particularly. Perkins was very good first half but their ten men behind the ball in the second half made life difficult for him. Absolute worldie of a goal to win it, but other than that they didn’t create too much against the young defence.

Have yet to see their goal on the telly but it looked a worldy from where I was sitting. Thought the youngsters did pretty well tbh. Our back 4 handled their big lumps ok, especially Longelo.
Perkins ploughed a lone furrow up front and appears to have been written off by the usual suspects on here. Fucks sake, give the kid a chance! He's 17, and whilst of course he needs to bulk up a bit, he got fuck all support from some of our more senior players. We do love a scapegoat on here, don't we?!

Back 4 were decent and you can see they play together.
Longelo and Ashby got forward well.
Perkins worked hard but had nobody supporting him.
Senior players were poor. Kral and Noble didn’t get forward or offer protection to back 4. How often did their Nunber 7 run though our midfield?
Never been a Yarma fan but we have to get rid and use his wages on others.
Vlasic not doing enough yet to become a starter.
Where was Chesters and OKo Flex?

Fornals Yarma and noble were miles off the pace,done fuck all to encourage the youngsters who played alright considering.
Not much to play for really but a great turnout.
Well done to those who attended.

All of the kids should be very proud of themselves, particularly as they were let down by the grown ups. Yarmo was a disgrace and should be put out for recycling.

I can’t believe I went to that, it was like a pre season friendly.
The defence did ok but we’re not placed under much pressure, Perkins looked weak. He needs to bulk up before we see him again, he never once took on a defender.
Yarmo was his useful shit self.
Kral and Noble did nothing of note and Vlasic is the new Yarmo.
Zagreb were shit but their 40 fans made some noise.
Boring game.
